About Us

Landry & Company is a 3-piece family band from Northwest Louisiana made up of Oldest son, Landry Wilkinson on guitar, Youngest son, Cardis Wilkinson on bass and keys, and dad, Steve Wilkinson on drums.  Landry & Company blends a style of country/rock/blues with their original music.

About Landry: Landry started taking guitar lessons at age 8 with blues legend Jerry Beach.  With Jerry's foundation and his current teacher, Mr. Jimmy Johnson's technique and theory, Landry has developed a style of his own.  Landry likes the more "bluesy/rock" style of music.  He's a big fan of James Burton, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

About Cardis: Cardis started playing bass at age 6.  Being taught the basics by his dad, he never had any formal bass lessons.  He started taking piano lessons with Mr. Kenny Alderman at age 8, and takes what he learns on piano and applies it to bass.  Cardis likes funk, rock and blues, and is a big fan of Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, and ZZ Top.

About Steve:  Steve has been playing drums since around the age of 3.  He's played in numerous bands over the years, but his greatest joy is sharing the stage with his two sons.  Steve likes more of the southern-rock and country style of music.  Steve says,   "God truly gave me the ultimate blessing of being able to play music with my kids".

About the name:  When Landry was younger (before Cardis could hold a guitar), he would play shows with his dad and his friends.  They would call that band "Landry & Company".  Not knowing that Cardis would eventually be playing and they would have the true LANDRY & COMPANY!  With Cardis now playing, the band was complete.  With mom (Paula) working the merch booth, and dad and the boys playing in the band, traveling with Landry & Company has become the family business.

About the MUSIC:  Landry & Company covers music in the styles of ZZ Top, B.B. King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Stoney Larue, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Otis Redding, Jerry Reed, Marshall Tucker Band, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Hank Williams, John Mayer, the Eagles, Delbert McClinton, Funky Meters, and many others.  Very diverse musical background.
